Audrey's Puppy Party - Poppy + Grace

A few months after the fact, I’m finally getting around to sharing Audrey’s Puppy Pawty. Audrey had been talking about her puppy party for MONTHS! Early last year I came across the Bow Wow collection of party supplies by Daydream Society and I thought they looked like something she would love. Well, I was right, because she was sold on this party theme as soon as she saw them!

I love all the matching products in this collection. The dogs on the banner behind the food table and in the flowers are called “thingamajigs”. They are cutouts that can be used in a variety of ways. I used some on the banner and glued some to sticks and stuck them in the flowers. I think they pulled everything together.

I mixed and matched the Bow Wow collection from Daydream society (links below) with the puppy napkins by Meri Meri. I love how the table settings turned out

For the color scheme, I tried to pull out the peach, gold, black and white colors in the plates, and added in some light pink and blue. I made a backdrop out of plastic tablecloths and a balloon garland.

I used tennis balls, jars of dog bones, and stuffed animals to pull together the dog theme. I grabbed some flowers from Trader Joe’s and created some flower arrangements for the tables.

As favors, we did an ”Adopt a puppy” station where the kids could pick a puppy and name it. I also made dog bone sugar cookies that they could take with them.

Audrey’s precious puppy tutu dress is from Taylor Joelle. Her puppy swimsuit is from Rosie Beach, which is a sister company of Taylor Joelle. The designs were created by Hey Cute Design, who is actually the mom of Jenny who owns Taylor Joelle and Rosie Beach! You’ll also notice these designs on some of the signs on the tables.

We had her party at our local YMCA. They got an hour in the party room and then an hour to swim. The kids had a fun time swimming and playing in the pool. We’re so thankful for all of our friends and family who came out to celebrate her!
