A couple months ago I had the pleasure of planning a party for a friend’s daughter. I was so excited when she asked me to help, especially when she told me what she wanted the theme to be. The birthday girl, Amelia, is Audrey’s age and one of our girls good friends, so that made it even better.
Paint Birthday Party
Amelia loves art so she asked for a paint party with girly rainbow colors. The color palate for this party was so bright and fun! I did a colorful balloon arch with a paint splatter backdrop. I thought it would be fun to get a white sheet and let the girls splatter it with paint. Fun fact – Amelia is also our neighbor, so she came on down the street one afternoon and the three of them went to town splattering the backdrop with colorful paint. It turned out super cute.
I also had her do a painted hand print and put her name on a splattered canvas and framed them.
I made these centerpieces out of galvanized buckets, paint brushes, and tissue paper. I put letters on scrapbook paper to spell her name.
On the menu:
Pizza
Rice Krispie treat paint brushes
Decorated sugar cookies by Sweet Treat Therapy
Cake by Publix
How adorable were the cookies by Sweet Treat Therapy?! She did an amazing job! I asked her for a special cookie to go on a mini easel on top of the cake and it turned out perfect!
This party was so fun to plan with all the bright, pretty colors and paint splatters! Thank you, Mallory for allowing me to be a part of Amelia’s special day!
