I’m lumping together my July and August Happy Planner spreads because I was slacking big time during the summer on keeping up with decorating my planner! My entire month of June is completely blank ?♀️. Moving in May put me into a major funk. I felt out of my normal routine and it took me quite some time to feel normal again. Actually, it wasn’t until school started back that I finally started to feel normal again, which is crazy because I had been dreading Raley starting Kindergarten, but ultimately it was getting back into a school routine which helped me feel like my life wasn’t in disarray. It’s weird how quickly our brains latch onto a routine and how out of sorts you feel when you don’t have one. Does anyone else feel this way?
Anyway, I managed to create my monthly spread and two weekly spreads for the month of July and I did all but one week in August. Finally starting to get back into a groove, and hopefully I’ll get back into a blogging groove here soon too. If you’re interested, keep scrolling to see the last two months in my planner.
July 2019 Happy Planner Spreads
July Monthly Spread
I love using patriotic colors and stickers in my planner! It seemed fitting for the month of July.
July week 1:
More red, white and blue for the week of the Fourth! Most of these stickers are from the Happy Memory Keeping Holidays book
July week 4:
I went with a mermaid theme from the Color Story 2 book because of Raley’s Mermaid birthday party that week and it turned out so cute!
August 2019 Happy Planner Spreads
August Monthly Spread
I went with a fun yellow and red back-to-school color scheme for my August monthly spread. Most of the color stickers are from the Rainbow Sticker book.
August week 1:
This was the week Raley started school, so I filled this week with feel good, keep-your-head up quotes and lots of bright colors. Most of these stickers are from the original Color Story book.
August week 2:
I had to throw in some “flinginos” for our trip to the zoo for Audrey’s flamingo photo shoot! I found these sweet flamingo stickers in a new student seasons sticker book. Other books used in this spread are the Watercolors and Essential Planning sticker books.
August week 3:
When I’m stumped as to how to decorate my planner, I tend to reach for the black and white stickers and add a little pop of color. August week 4:
First week of Alabama football = red, black and houndstooth Happy Planner Spread. I have loved flipping to this spread all week. Roll Tide!
