There are so many places on my and David’s bucket list of places we’d like to visit, that I don’t think we’ll ever get to see them all. There are so many beautiful places on God’s green earth, that I’d love to visit all of them. If we won the lottery and had alls the money to travel, these places would be on the very top of our list
Europe
If we could take 3 months off to travel around Europe, we probably still wouldn’t see everything we wanted to. I’d love to visit most European countries. Each one has something different to offer and we’d love to explore every bit of it. Ride in a gondola down the Venice Canal. Explore the castles and the beautiful architecture in Germany. Sit at a French boulangerie and eat macarons all day. Play golf in Ireland. Explore the snowy mountains of Iceland. Watch the Northern Lights in Norway. Drink tea in London. And this is only scratching the surface!
If you’ve been to Europe, where would you suggest going first?
There are several places apart from Europe that are high on our list as well. The first being –
French Polynesia
I did not realize how much I wanted to go to the French Polynesia until Kait wrote about it last year. And holy moly! Those clear blue waters! I bet it doesn’t get much better than that. We looked into going in a couple years for our 10 year anniversary and it’s quite pricey, so that’s one we may not get to visit for a while. But definitely high on the list!
South Africa
A real African safari is something I’d absolutely love to do, despite my aversion to being hot and sweaty. To be that close to these animals in their natural habitat, in the wild, not in a controlled environment like the zoo, would be pretty incredible to see.
Australia
This is just one of those places that would be really awesome to visit. My dad’s company almost sent him out there on business a couple months ago and I told him I’d go with him to keep him company. He thought I was joking. But seriously, what a cool Daddy-Daughter trip to go on! Even if he will be working part of the time, I bet we could find some time to explore. So Daddy, if the offer comes up again – think about it!
Caribbean Islands
We stopped in the Bahamas very briefly on our honeymoon, but we would love to stay at an all-inclusive resort on one of the Caribbean Islands. The turquoise waters and white sand are to die for!
Alaska
Yall know I love cold weather, and I think that Alaska would absolutely be the place for me! I have a couple friends who’s husbands are in the military and they are stationed in Alaska and the photos they post give me all the heart eyes and make me long to visit this beautiful part of our country.
Hawaii
Another part of our country I’d love to explore. So much beauty to see! If you’ve been to (or live in) Hawaii, which island would you suggest visiting first?
Maine
I’ve always wanted to explore the East Coast, and it just seems like a dream to stay in a sweet little B&B in Cape Elizabeth, eat some delicious sea food, and explore the area.
Savannah, Georgia
I’ve heard that Savannah is such a quaint little southern town and it sounds like such a fun long weekend getaway spot!
MLB Ballparks
If you’ve been around here a while, you may know that we have a goal of visiting all 30 MLB ballparks. So far we’ve visited 10, so we’ve got a ways to go! There are several cities that I’m particularly excited about exploring when we visit their teams ball park such as Seattle, Cincinnati, Denver, Milwaukee, and Minneapolis. Usually we go in the summer, but when we go to Minneapolis and some of the other cooler cities, I hope to go early in the season so that we can actually go when it’s not so hot. I’d love to bundle up at a baseball games like old times.
I’m sure I could come up with a thousand more places that I would like to visit, but these are a few that are on the top of my list. I’m linking up with Kait for her September Blogging Challenge today, so hop on over there to check out what’s on her travel bucket list – she’s a travel blogger, so you know there’s some good places on there!

Other than French Polynesia and the ballparks, our lists are almost identical! We have been blessed to travel to most of these beautiful locations and I highly recommend them. If you ask me my favorite state, I say Maine. Our trip to Australia, one of my all time favorites. Hawaii – always. And Ireland gets into your spirit. One of my favorite quotes says, “A tourist tells you where he’s been; a traveler tells you where he is going’’, I still want to do a safari, and I hope you experience every one of your travel wishes!

Thank you! All of these sound like a dream! I love that quote also.

Well if you ever get to Europe or start planning for Europe please let me know. I have been s fortunate to travel a bit in Europe so I’d love to give recommendations.
First, I’d recommend visiting the Cotswolds because there is nothing quite as beautiful as the English Countryside. There are some great airbnb locations that I would recommend personally as well.
Second, if you’re in Europe … you HAVE to visit LONDON. I would say that staying outside of downtown London is key … we stayed in Stratford City on our last trip and we were so close to the Olympic stadiums. It was quite an experience and then we could hop on the tube and get into london very quickly.
Finally, I would recommend visiting the isle of man if you get the chance. I’d only go for a night or two but another one of those once in a lifetime kind of places!
Please email me if you have any other questions. 🙂

Oh my, this is awesome information! London is definitely way up there on my Europe list. I will be sure to contact you when we start planning. It may be a while though, unfortunately!
