This month I tried to keep up those summer vibes! As much as I can’t wait for fall to get here, I’m trying to enjoy summer while it lasts. Most schools in our area start back either this week or next, but my kids don’t go back to MMO for another month, so we have a few more weeks to enjoy summer break! Seeing several of my friends’ kids start Kindergarten this week has my heart torn and stomach in knots, because I know that when Raley goes to Kindergarten this time next year I’m going to be a mess! But I’m trying not to think about that and focus on having the best year before she heads off into big kid world.
Now, on to some pretty Happy Planner spreads!
I’ve been excited to do some red, white and blue spreads! I mentioned in last month’s Happy Planner post that monthly spreads have become some of my favorites. This one is super simple, but I love the colors and it has been so fun to turn to throughout the month. I was running low on darker blue stickers, so I added in this periwinkle color, and I think it looks so pretty with the other blues and red.

I plan to use the notebook as a journal and a place to keep my lists, party plans, etc. For the past few years I’ve been keeping a journal of things that happen in our everyday lives (the good and the bad), milestones, silly things the girls do and say – really just anything I want to remember that I know I’ll enjoy looking back on later. (I have a terrible memory, and this is a great way to capture those memories.) As the year goes on, my journal pages would make my planner thicker and thicker. These Happy Notes are a brilliant solution to this problem! It will end up being a book of 2018 memories for our family.

I created this spread using the new (876ct.). I like all the different summery colors. It’s a little different than other spreads I have done in the past, but I like how it turned out. (I added some after the pen photos too!)

All about those girls this week. I just love these little stickers. I’m excited to get to the fall girls with their boots and sweaters and pumpkins!

I decided to do a watermelon spread this week. I couldn’t decide between pink and green or red and green, but most of the watermelon stickers I had were red so we went that way. I was afraid it would turn out a bit Christmas-y, but I think it turned out cute. (I actually used some watermelon stickers from one of the girl’s $1 sticker books that I got from Michaels!)

A couple months ago I snatched up and I have been dying to use it! It started in July, so this is the first month I’ve used it’s regular pages. (I used the extension pack pages for the month of June, just so I could start planning in it and getting organized.)
I use this one as an editorial calendar for blogging. I write down my ideas, to-do lists, what I’m working on, my schedule for posts, etc. It’s been a great way to get my thoughts in order and get more organized and “down to business.” I didn’t create a spread for every week this month, but I’ve got a couple I can share!
I have enjoyed using the for this planner. I usually find a sticker or two that I really like and build the rest of my spread and color scheme around them. I try to keep it these more list oriented so that I can be sure to list out all the things I need to remember. I grabbed a couple of spring stickers from the to round out this spread

Oh boy, do I love this one! The colors and the flamingos have me all ? I combined stickers from the mini book with Watercolor stickers and flamingos from the
